Job Requirements for Junior Customer Support Advisor (Level 1: Associate Consultant – Customer Support)
Job Summary:
The Junior Customer Support Advisor will act as the initial point of contact for students and parents interested in study-abroad programs. This role involves providing essential information on services, application procedures, and deadlines, as well as maintaining the client support database to ensure smooth and accurate client management.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to initial inquiries from students and parents regarding study-abroad options and services.
Provide basic information about consultancy services, including application steps, deadlines, and associated fees.
Support data entry tasks by maintaining and updating the client support database to ensure accurate and organized client records.
Communicate empathetically with clients to provide a welcoming and supportive customer experience.
Escalate complex queries to senior support staff or consultants as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in customer support, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Empathy and a strong client-service orientation.
Basic skills in customer support, with the ability to handle inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for data management.
